Thanks for this.
First, I will admit to being a little "green" to the manner CentOS does
a few things so, I'm about to ask newbie question.
I have fetched and located your COPR into /etc/yum.repos.d/ as
instructed.
Ran: # yum install BackupPC
And get this near the end (of all the dependencies list):
---> Package mesa-libgbm.x86_64 0:11.2.2-2.20160614.el7 will be
installed
---> Package mesa-libglapi.x86_64 0:11.2.2-2.20160614.el7 will be
installed
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: BackupPC-4.1.0-1.el7.centos.x86_64 (hobbes1069-BackupPC)
Requires: perl(Net::FTP::RetrHandle)
Error: Package: BackupPC-4.1.0-1.el7.centos.x86_64 (hobbes1069-BackupPC)
Requires: perl(Net::FTP::AutoReconnect)
Error: Package: BackupPC-4.1.0-1.el7.centos.x86_64 (hobbes1069-BackupPC)

Error: Package: BackupPC-4.1.0-1.el7.centos.x86_64 (hobbes1069-BackupPC)
Requires: perl(Time::ParseDate)
Error: Package: BackupPC-4.1.0-1.el7.centos.x86_64 (hobbes1069-BackupPC)
Requires: perl-Time-modules
Error: Package: BackupPC-4.1.0-1.el7.centos.x86_64 (hobbes1069-BackupPC)

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
I also searched:
yum search perl-Time-modules
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
* base: mirror.steadfast.net
* extras: mirrors.cmich.edu
* updates: mirrors.rit.edu
Warning: No matches found for: perl-Time-modules
No matches found
So, I tried adding "--skip-broken" . . . . (this is new to me.)
And the install "Skipped (dependency problems)" that included
BackupPC.X86_64 0:4.1.0-1.el7.centos BackupPC-XS.x86_64
0:0.53-1.el7.centos rsync-bpc.x86_64 0:3.0.9.6-1.el7.centos and 49 other
packages.
Ran: "You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest"
Still no love!
I will be away from my VM machine for the day and will not be available
to try again until this evening (it's early morning here, now.)
I have been using linux since 2002. I'm a Debian/Ubuntu guy. Sorry, I am
not that familiar with some of the CentOS rudimentary things a typical
Cent user might already know.
What to do?
