It is possible to run two separate BackupPC instances.  However, you have
to be careful to make sure all the key installation directories (and
configuration paths to those directories) are mutually exclusive.

Alternatively, since you are already running BackupPC inside a VM, it might
be easier to just run the 2nd instance inside a second VM.
