Hello again :) I renamend the remaining nnn.old directories back to nnn and run BackupPC_migrateV3toV4 again. Now all hosts are migrated, again with some error messages but no remaining nnn.old.
Only one host isn't migrated. I got the errors: BackupPC_migrateV3toV4: can't read attribute file ./f%2f/fvar/fstate/attrib bpc_attrib_dirRead: can't open ./f%2f/fvar/fstate/attrib bpc_poolRefFileWrite: can't open/create pool delta file name /var/lib/backuppc/pc/firewall/950.v4/refCnt/tpoolCntDelta_0_-1_0_2764886 (errno 24) bpc_poolRefRequestFsck: can't open/create fsck request file /var/lib/backuppc/pc/firewall/950.v4/refCnt/needFsck2764886 (errno 24) firewall #950: 93.0% BackupPC_migrateV3toV4: converted backup in /var/lib/backuppc/pc/firewall/950; removing /var/lib/backuppc/pc/firewall/950.old /usr/bin/perl: error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: Error 24 BackupPC_migrateV3toV4: BackupPC_refCountUpdate exited with errors BackupPC_migrateV3toV4: got 1041 errors I'm interessted on hints to the following three errors: * bpc_poolRefFileWrite: can't open/create pool delta file name * bpc_poolRefRequestFsck: can't open/create fsck request file * /usr/bin/perl: error while loading shared libraries: libdl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: Error 24 Anyone have an idea for the reason of such errors? Uhh: * I'm running debian having /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdl.so.2 😁️ * The not migrated host is the only one with "tar" backups from 2011 * ls -R ..950.old | wc -l delivers 12774 and BackupPC_ls -R -h firewall -s / -n 950 / | wc -l delivers 9837. Means 3.000 files are lost ? Thanks Matthias Am Freitag, dem 25.04.2025 um 07:50 +0200 schrieb Matthias--- via BackupPC-users: > Hello :) > > Some years ago I used compression (cpool).
