I don't think the PKI signature - aka crypto stuff - is usable as a 
hash in the catalog. The latter is used for verify jobs, and needs to 
be stored in the catalog. The former is, as far as I know, only used 
for encrypted data transfer and not suitable for verify jobs.

Let's see if any of the developers can confirm this...
