Hello, I took a look at it, and I am impressed.I would really like to see this part of the Bacula source code. If you would sign and send in the FLA as documented on www.bacula.org -> FSFE License,
I'll do that as soon as possible.
we could put it in a platform/osx directory along with the other packing stuffwe have. What do you think.
I rewrote the Makefile in order to fit it into platforms/osx. I also fixed the spots in autoconf/ to get platforms/osx detected by configure and friends.
Universal builds from 10.4/ppc are now possible. Debian's fakeroot is now used for packaging in order to circumvent the hardly predictable mechanism of PackageMaker.app when applying "recommended permissions". More on that in the Readme-File.
To build a dmg from within the patched bacula source the following commands are required:
$ ./configure --enable-client-only $ make -C platforms/osx dmg The image file will be put into platforms/osx/products A patch against Release-3.0.2 is attached. Cheers Lorenz
