Hi all,

I want to build bacula 5.0.0/5.0.1 on gentoo with readline-support
to have the new tab completion feature.

When configuring the source with

   ... "--enable-readline --with-readline=/usr --disable-conio" ...

the result looks like this:

...
Bacula conio support: no -lreadline -lhistory -ltermcap
   readline support: yes
...

What is wrong here is the '-ltermcap' because there is libncurses
installed only (libtermcap is not available)

If I force it to use - ncurses by changing every -ltermcap into
-lncurses in the ./configure script manually then the build works
perfectly fine with readline support.

The -ltermcap seems to be hardcoded in configure.in.

What can be done here so that configure works on distros where no
termcap is available?

Is this something for the bug tracker?

-Marc
