Hello,
We are not longer testing, or supporting the DVD code, simply because so few
people use it. It was a very clever implementation, but unfortunately is not
so easy to maintain.
If you would like to write to DVDs, I suggest that you create disk Volumes of
the appropriate maximum size, and then periodically write the off to a DVD
with a good DVD burner.
There is a Web based GUI CD management tool in the gui directory written by
Scott Barninger. If it doesn't already handle DVDs, I suspect that it could
be modified to do so rather easily -- it used the database to keep track of
what Volumes have been burned onto CD.
We will be removing the code, probably in the next version.
Best regards,
Kern
