Hi All; I'm getting a lot of FD errors while testing a restore, I am not sure what is causing them.
- testing a bare metal recovery - rebuild a catalog from a volume on a dev server. - did not have a bootstrap file - all the files were restored but about 1/3 were reported as being the incorrect size - the backup volume was created using compression - the director that created it was a BSD 5.3 machine - the restoring director is suse linux - the disk geometry on the machine being restored is slightly different than the original ( manual partitioning / mounting and formatting ) All the files appear to be present and the machine boots/works - the only thing I can see out of order is the lack of a bootstrap file. - here is the tail end of the report.... - any thoughts? 18:59:43 /migrate.sh 09-May 14:06 hurricane-fd: RestoreHurricaneFiles.2005-05-09_10.10.46 Error: attribs.c:339 File size of restored file /migrate.sh not correct.
