I am getthing this when i do a status for the Director inside bconsole:
*status
Using default Catalog name=MyCatalog DB=bacula
Status available for:
1: Director
2: Storage
3: Client
4: All
Select daemon type for status (1-4): 1
gto-dir Version: 1.36.1 (26 November 2004) i386-pc-linux-gnu debian 3.1
Daemon started 01-May-05 16:57, 28 Jobs run since started.
Scheduled Jobs:
Level Type Pri Scheduled Name Volume
===================================================================================
Differential Backup 10 12-May-05 13:00 Max *unknown*
Full Backup 11 12-May-05 13:00 BackupCatalog *unknown*
====
What i want to know is why do i get volume name as unknown? I already have
defined my pools and my jobs run smoothly according to schedule. But for some
reason the status message shows unknown volume always.
This is part of my bigger question :
How do you make bacula send a message before a job is run, informing the
operator it needs such and such volume for the scheduled job? Since i run my
jobs at night, it would be helpful to know early on(in an email message
everyday) what volume bacula expects and change it before leaving if it is
not in the magazine already loaded.
Thanks
