I have been getting these error messages not on any kind of regular
basis, but none the less I have been getting them.
Here is a snipped of the log;
3301 Issuing autochanger "loaded drive 0" command.
01-Jul 22:00 ganymede-sd: 3302 Autochanger "loaded drive 0", result is Slot 6.
01-Jul 22:00 ganymede-sd: 3303 Issuing autochanger "unload slot 6, drive 0"
command.
01-Jul 22:00 ganymede-sd: 3304 Issuing autochanger "load slot 9, drive 0"
command.
01-Jul 22:01 ganymede-sd: 3305 Autochanger "load slot 9, drive 0", status is OK.
01-Jul 22:06 ganymede-sd: Custweb2.2005-07-01_22.00.00 Warning: Couldn't rewind
device /dev/nst0 ERR=dev.c:406 Rewind error on /dev/nst0. ERR=Input/output
error.

Look at the last entry in the snippet, this is what my issue is.
What I have been doing is I write junk to the tape with mt then I
relabel the tape with bacula and it is all good. I have not recieved
this error with any tapes on a multiple basis, however I did have one
where I did my relabel thing and it did not fix it, I had to take the
tape out of the library.

So anyone know why I am getting these errors? All the tapes are brand
new out of the box...
