Hi Bacula-users, I read a posting about a month ago where Thorsten Engel was writing about his implementation of VSS in Bacula.
Does anyone know how the VSS feature works? If I enable it in bacula-dir.conf with "Enable VSS = Yes", does this mean that all partitions specified in the fileset are backed up using VSS? And what if I only have enabled VSS on one of the partitions (the one holding the MSSQL or Exchange DB files) on my Windows machine, what happens then? Also, does anyone know if he has implemented VSS restore yet? As I understand this is a must have if one are going to do a proper restore of an MS Exchange database... Finally...
