I know that there has been a lot of work on backup to DVD, though I haven't looked very closely at it before. It has recently occurred to me that I might like to backup some of my data to dvd, but I don't know if I want to purchase another dvd writer for my storage machine. If it isn't already possible, may I request a feature addition with which CD/DVD backups can be performed but instead of writing to CD or DVD only an ISO image is made which can be burned later or on another machine?
