I added some in 1.37, will probably add more later, but it isn't always so 
obvious since one can run multiple copies of each daemon (you just need to 
change the port number).  For that reason, the Dir and the SD must be able to 
do a directory scan, something they don't currently know how to do (well, the 
SD does do one for the DVD code ...).  

Hopefully a few programmers will come along to help me do these kinds of 
things.
