I apologize if this has already been posted.

How can I backup Exchange 2003 with bacula? I am currently using
windows backup to a share and backing up that file, but this isn’t
efficient. I’d like to be able to connect to the exchange server if at
all possible.

I'm no expert on the matter but I guess it should be enough to:
- - install the Bacula Win32 File Daemon (Agent) on the Exchange server
- - enable use of the Volume Shadowing Service (VSS) in your FileSet (see
the manual here:
http://www.bacula.org/rel-manual/Windows_Version_Bacula.html#SECTION000397000000000000000)

BTW: If you haven't done so yet, I recommend reading the excellent
manual at http://bacula.org/rel-manual/ .

Greetings,
        Michel
