Judging by the error messages you got below during the btape "test" command, I
would try the test again with two changes:

   BSF at EOM = no
   TWO EOF = no

If that fails, try the two recommended configurations given in the manual. One
is probably identical to the above, but it would be worth checking.

 Hi Kern.
   The problem right now is my device, is not accepting any tape.
   Iam going to setup another PC with windows 2000 and install the HP Tools programs to see what is wrong with the tape device, this maybe happend for three things:

1; My settings are wrong and bacula send some command that the device didnt understand and cause this hardware problem.
2; My device already need some maintenance.
3; I need vacations :-)

   Well as soon i fix this i will continue, try your tips and inform to the list Kern.

   If someone has some idea how to get back my tape device will be great.
