This is incorrect behavior (i.e. you should not get the MTWEOF error). It will 
*probably* work, but I wouldn't run my tape drive this way.  It looks like 
Bacula is not seeing the logical end of tape marker, but is writing right to 
the physical end of the tape (very bad). Also, on a modern tape drive, Bacula 
should be backing up and re-reading the last record written, but it looks 
like you disabled that.  Your tape drive modes are probably not set correctly 
-- could be either or both of the Bacula Device specification or the modes 
set by mt.   Sorry, I cannot help any more than that.
