Howdy Michael,

Barring anything wildly unexpected, I would say that the on-medium format is stable. There is one thing I'd like to change, but it can be done in a backwards compatible fashion: Currently, the signing code only signs the file's encrypted contents. I'd like to also sign the other non-encrypted metadata -- the file's path, extended attributes, ownership, permissions, etc.
