I see that 1.39.x for Windows includes both the storage daemon and the
director. This is a major step forward, and while it was mentioned
before, I don't think it necessarily sank in (Dan wasn't sure in the
interview, as I recall).

This is very interesting to me, just as a test case, and also to allow
me to have a director that is not on my computer cause my computer to
run backups for itself. Question is, though, is DVD writing supported AT
ALL on the Windows platform (supported is really the wrong word)? Anyone
tried it at all and have any advice, or am I in uncharted territory here? :)
