Try running the daemons with debug output enabled and captured (like 'bacula-dir -d 400 -c /etc/... >> /var/log/bacula-dir.log') and try to reproduce it. Also, creating a backtrace of the programs could help the developers. If you're unfamiliar with gdb (like me) you can use the btraceback script. If you can reproduce this probem, it should be reported at bugs.bacula.org, I think.
