I also split my dir.conf file up into other include files, like this.  
Its easier for me to keep track of things this way.

# Pool configuation
@pools.conf

# Storage configuration
@storage.conf

# Clients
@clients.conf

# Filesets
@filesets.conf

# Jobs
@jobs.conf

# Job Schedules
@schedules.conf
