What sort of storage? I guess file based. Can you reproduce the error? Does the error always occur at the same location (block 147 in volume "bacula"? Does the error occur with other volumes as well? Can you dd or cat that file to /dev/null without problems? When you see the problem, are there any messages in the system log? Is the file system ok? (fsck) What sort of storage is this?
