I have 20 tapes full of back-ups of a Linux, a Windows 2000 and a Windows XP system. The Linux system is the back-up server. Bacula version is 1.38.5. The files I want to restore are quite old, so they can be found on several back-ups, however, I get the same read error on each and every back-up I restore from, only the file:blk is different. The error messages can be found below.
I have no problem restoring Linux files, so I assume the error message is fake and tells something quite different. Can someone please help me through this problem - if at all possible? It is a major disaster if I can't restore the files.
