Meanwhile I noticed that dbcheck, when prompting for a "(yes/no)"
answer, will interpret the answer "y" as "no".

It is entirely possible (and in fact quite probable) that I had
indeed just answered "y" to the "Print them?" question above,
which dbcheck would have taken as "no, don't print" and directly
proceeded to deleting them.

Does that make sense?
