I am just testing bacula prior to deployment and restored 7 files from one directory from a backup of 3TB.
This backup is stored on 3 LTO4 volumes and in order to restore these 7 files, it read from the first and third LTO4 volumes, when I would have expected them to all be adjacent to one another. Is this a deliberate policy to spread data across tapes or a reflection of the FS layout of the data being backed up?
