Hi, yesterday I found help here on how to connect to a client, now I still can't backup a clients. I still think that I don't get the picture on who has to talk to whom.
General: Debian 5.0 amd64, bacula 5.0.1 FD talked to DIR. DIR talks to SD. No Need for FD to talk to SD, Right? My Problem now is that the director can talk to the client just fine: ################## Connecting to Client bacula-client01-fd at bacula-client01:9102 2000 OK estimate files=26,551 bytes=602,354,120 ################## but when I try to actually backup the Client I get: ################## find /etc/init.Running Jobs: JobId 4 Job client01.2010-05-14_16.16.38_04 is running. Full System or Console Job started: 14-May-10 14:16 Files=0 Bytes=0 Bytes/sec=0 Errors=0 Files Examined=0 SDSocket closed.d/ -name 'bacula*' -exec {} restart \; ################## I started two Jobs to backup "client01". jobID 4 and 5. Noting in the logfile at all. Here is the output I get via the messages: ############### 14-May 16:16 bacula-server01-dir JobId 4: No prior Full backup Job record found. 14-May 16:16 bacula-server01-dir JobId 4: No prior or suitable Full backup found in catalog. I need to back backups over the Internet. Could someone please point me in the right direction again?
