That is one reason why we were both complaining about pinging the
other direction.. In the case of a FQDN instead of an ipaddress being
placed in the bacula-dir.conf, the director does not resolve the FQDN
it passes that to the client to resolve. This is actually a good thing
because it can allow for complex multi homed setups where different
clients have a different path to the storage.
