Hello,
I have a couple of tapes that I believe should be up for recycling. These
tapes have a VolRetention period of 7,776,000 which is 90 days ( / 86400 ==
90). Now is:
# date +%s
1429719504
So 90 days ago is:
# dc
2k
1429719504 7776000 - p
1421943504
# date -d@1421943504
Thu Jan 22 16:18:24 UTC 2015
But I see in Bacula that the VolStatus is still "Full", not "Recycle":
+---------+------------+-----------+---------+--------------+---------+------+---------------------+
| MediaId | VolumeName | VolStatus | Enabled | VolRetention | Recycle |
Slot | LastWritten |
+---------+------------+-----------+---------+--------------+---------+------+---------------------+
| 26 | EPW683L3 | Full | 1 | 7,776,000 | 1 |
0 | 2015-01-03 07:24:13 |
| 29 | EPW684L3 | Full | 1 | 7,776,000 | 1 |
0 | 2015-01-17 07:49:39 |
And I have the following in my Director:
Recycle = yes
AutoPrune = yes
Volume Retention = 3 months
Should I not see these tapes as "Recycle" or "Purged" or some other
VolStatus?
Thanks.
