The main objectives of tape spooling are clustering multiple backup jobs data 
on tape for faster restores or having a significant faster and bigger spool 
disk to short the client reading backup window.
That said, you are not going to achieve none of that with a 8GB spooling. I 
would just stop using spooling or acquiring such a 1TB SSD disk which is 
cheaper than RAM.
