Hi,

I not an expert but i use disk storage and if y have a "Maximum Volume Bytes" when the max arrived , Bacula mount a new file.

For the tape it's the same.

so you can put 800+ GB (to be confirmed)

I noticed in the bacula-dir file, it has maximum volume set to 50GB.  What exactly does this mean, I have LTO-4 that can do 800+ GB, do I need ot change the colume size so it uses the whole tape, or does this refer to the size of a chunk it will write to a tape?

Thanks!
Jasen
