Hello everyone, Well, @phil, it turns out it was more work than I thought, but with some help from a colleague (Thanks Dorian!) I have just committed the latest version which now supports MySQL and MariaDB databases.
https://github.com/waa/bacula I have a Bacula community installation with a PostgreSQL backend and another with a MariaDB backend. This script was tested against, and appears to work the same in these two environments. Anyone with a 'real' MySQL backend, I would love to hear any feedback about this script in your environment. For everyone else, I welcome any feedback.
