Bacula has a feature called Plugins which allow Bacula to backup and restore different components using these plugins. So, in my understanding the term: "a Bacula Plugin for TrueNAS Core" means a feature for Bacula to be able to backup and restore data (files, configuration, etc.) available on your TrueNAS server. This is a case when your TrueNAS box flames in fire then you will be able to recover all your data to the new TrueNAS box.
