Ok I understand.

It works, but it find only the job associated, it could by better if we can
search the file or path with a full search tool that search recursively at the
wizard step3. Or in the job history interface, when we found the good job,
to be able to search through the jobfiles tab and with wildcards char to
target the good path where to the file (or the full file name and ext)

The fact is my user don't remember where the file is but only that the file is
named "docu" something "solu" something ".fmp12"
I finally find the file manually it but it could be an easiest way to have an
advanced file/path search tool in Baculum.

I also thought to first create a restore job with a proper fileset that target
the client, the root disk, and include a wildfile options : docu*solu*.fmp12
and to schedule/play this job.
It can work, can't it ?

Hello Lionel,

You probably mean the third restore wizard step. Please look at the second
step, not the third one. You can see it here:

https://ibb.co/RTBXygQc

For your search pattern *docu*solu* this will not work there. After typing a
file name part to the search field the wildcard * characters will be added
automatically to the beginning and to the end of the file name. So, you can try
to type:

docu

or

solu

If the "match exact filename" checkbox is not checked, it will search for
*docu* and *solu*

Descriptions for these fields are in the tooltips.

Good luck.

Best regards,
Marcin Haba (gani)
