I wonder what you find when you investigate the files mentioned in the
error messages. Does an 'ls -lah $filename' show any details, or give an
error?

Are the files all related to a specific program? Are all the files of type
.nib, or are they different types?

I wonder also if it is talking about apple extended attributes, or
something else.

I think if you can predict what bacula will complain about, and if you can
predict that the files or types aren't important, you can exclude them from
your backup.
