How would I specify a restore job in Baculum to restore a file to a specific folder on my director machine disk? Sometimes I want to do a test restore to a local directory to check that a job can be restored correctly.
I had thought that in Step 4 of the restore wizard I would write “/tmp/restore” as the restore directory and the selected file/directory would be restored to my local /tmp/restore directory. This isn’t working though. I get an error “ERR=no space left on device”. Could it be that the "restore directory" is relative to the "restore to client” selected? This defaults to the original backup to client (a CIFS mount on the Director machine). There is no directory by this name on the client. If I specify “/“ as a the restore to, it restores to the original source and works fine. -Chris-
