From a bizarre and completely twisted world-view, I can see where this
woman’s work could actually make a certain kind of sense. The Left views
the world as nothing more than oppressors and the oppressed. If you’re
not one, you must be the other.
This has led the Left to find victims everywhere. When they ran out of
actual victims, they resorted to creating victims using the twisted
logic that finds its home in academia. Using essentially meaningless
words and phrases, they have convinced themselves that almost any
characteristic can lead to being a victim. Evidence of actual victimhood
is no longer required. If they can make a case for victimhood, then the
victims must exist even if the supposed victims are unaware of it.
