But you are ignoring those passages which explicitly prohibit the kind of
behavior you are speaking of. I'm thinking explicitly of the passage where
Baha'u'llah describes His reading as child of the massacre of the Banu
Qurayza and how extremely agitated He became until it was revealed to Him
that in this Day, the extermination of peoples, the burning of books and the
shunning of communities would be erased from the Book of God.

"But I'm mainly thinking of the words and deeds of rank-and-file Bahai
whether approved by the UHJ or not."

That, of course, is much harder to control. But Baha'is don't see the
Muslims as a seperate category like Christians tended to see Jews. From our
standpoint they simply did what every community before them had done.
