Sure, but boycotts are rarely effective. Most people seem to have a short attention span. Back in the late 60s, when I was a member my school's chapter of the Students' Democratic Coalition (affiliated with the SDS), I handed out petitions to boycott California grapes. A lot of us participated, and, all over the country, we got tens of thousands of returned petitions. Well, the economic abuse of migrant workers is still going on.
