if i could split the middle here, i believe gilberto is saying valuable in his last post. >if< science is an accurate method for studying the obervable universe (by whatever methods of observation, including abstract thought) >and< the universe itself exists to glorify God, by being a place for His creatures to do their short ob prsyer, >then< imho it is logical that sceince would with great regularity find things that had lain hidden in Text. yes, the Verse would seem to clearly be about 1260. and to get there by means of tossing a meaningless aside (speed of light) as part of the construct...almost as if a bank shot in the pocket of Unity..the capital letter Unity. for religion and sceince to harmonise, science must have at some times a predominant position, at others religion. in my own shorthand this is how/why...with each discipline getting its own adverb,. not to be crossed. but that the Author of both, to take a quote of eionstein's hideously but not ineptly ut of context, can be tricky, but not mean. and show His tricks however pleases Him.
