During college, I worked and lived near 3 brothers - Hani, Fuad, and
Munir Baha'i. Their extended family migrated from Israel to Canada and
those three brothers came to America in the 70's. Their mother who I
only know as Mama Baha'i stayed in Canada.
The story they told was their great or great-great grandfather was one
of the faithful half-brothers of Baha'u'llah - I believe it was
Aqay-i-Kalim. Abdu'l-Baha granted them permission to take the name
Baha'i for their surname. They all grew up on land near the Sea of
Galilee where the faithful half-brother(s) settled. When the Israelis
confiscated it all, they moved to Canada.
Fuad Baha'i ran or runs Ansar Jewlery that some may be familiar with:
www.ansar.com. You may want to inquire there if Muhammad was a
relative. I would guess he must be.
