Dear Susan,

Others have mentioned the time constraints the Research Department
operates under, but there is another good reason for them not to do
this. If we had a member of the Research Department here there would
be a strong temptation to regard their opinions as authoritative and
that simply wouldn't be appropriate.

Also, I think I need to be very honest with you about something even
at the risk of hurting your feelings. Sometimes your questions have
seemed trivial and tiresome even to me. It is not that I think
questions are wrong (God forbid!) but I think you need to consider
which ones are really important.

You make a good point about the problem with having someone from the Research Department. I am in fact aware that many of my questions are trivial and not too important lol. I had in mind the more important questions that people here ask when I was thinking of having someone from the Research Department to answer questions.

Regards,
David
