Dear Richard,
Lots of Baha'is have imagined that the Dasatir was an authentic text,
but there is nothing in the Writings that actually endorses it. I've
examined the Persian text and it was definitely written in India as it
has Indo-Persian words you don't find in classical Persian like tapas
bodan.
