In the Writings it says that God gives us tests so that we can improve
spiritually. I, like many others, have had extensive periods where life has
been easy and there hasn't been any tests. Why didn't God send any tests?
Am I to believe that during those times God thought I was doing really well
spiritually and thus didn't need any tests? All the tests I've had seem
totally random, so I'm thinking it all operates with little or no
intervention from God. Does God intervene to make bad things happen so as
to test people?
