The Baha'i Studies Listserv A photograph of Baha'u'llah's prayer beads appears to show 33 beads separating the groupings of beads in the two sections shown in the picture. The entire string is not shown in the picture so it is unknown how many groups of 33 there are in this set of beads. I am wondering if there is an explanation as to why there are 33 beads in this design.
