Here is a short essay I wrote on "structurization theory" (my own
version of critical realism):
http://essay.structurization.com/
The basics come from Ram Roy Bhaskar's three-level ontology:
1. the unknowable "real" (roughly essences)
2. the knowable "actual" (roughly attributes)
3. empirical observation
Bhaskar also places a great deal of emphasis on agency (willful human
action), which I have interpreted as structurization.
