Hi Arpan, It wasnt original Bajaj packing- it was in Varroc packing costing Rs.550/-. I too am suspicious that the dealer has chipkaod me with the wrong part. Vinod has installed the coil from an original Bajaj packing but facing similar issues. Surprisingly I had seen Kapil's bike and all seemed well.
Will surely carry out the swap as mentioned by you.
