Also, and imho this is most important for keeping RXs around now:
how the hell are they gonna make it cheap enuf to mod? 
Especially for the road hog/idiot who thinks that bike can only go fast if it 
sounds like a cross between mechanical constipation and a high-pitched scream?

Yes, they can easily plonk any 4st engine in the RX100 frame and come
out with a 4st bike that looks like RX100 but ...
- How will they get that exhaust note that still make your heart skip
a beat or two, when a well maintained RX100 passes you?
- How will they get that thrilling acceleration that not many 4st
bikes of today can match?

How? And as GR said, if they do want to take effort and bring back
some legendary 2st Yamaha from ashes, please use the energy on RD350.
