Hi Folks, As you are well aware, Leh bore the brunt of a cloud burst. A lot of agencies are working on getting it back up.
A lot of bikers here on the group have also shown interest in helping out. The effort from BN is being headed by Suyash. He would ofcourse need people to help him with logistics and ideas how to go about helping out the Leh people. the forum post : http://www.bikenomads.com/forum/index.php?topic=213.0 is to be the main thread. Please contribute there, or in this thread if you want to keep sticking to the emails. Just a few things to be sorted out - what to do : cash/ clothes etc - how to do : some NGO ? Please take it on from here. The help is needed _now_ and the more late we do it, the less effective it will be. If any advice is to be given - please make sure that it is constructive and achievable. No general feelings/gyan/etc. V.
