Kami punya kronologi seperti ini : Tgl 5/8/11 pukul 20:10 Istri saya melahirkan putri ke-3 kami di RSIA Pekalongan melalui operasi dg BB 3,3 Kg TB : 50 cm. Berhubung istri saya masih lemah, si bayi tidak memperoleh ASI sampai 6/8/11 pagi. Alhamdulillah Si bayi sehat. Namun tgl 6/8 pukul 12:00, si Bayi mulai minum ASI dan malamnya ± 20:00 - 03:00 anak saya rewel dan panas, ternyata suhunya mencapai 39°C, tetapi tidak sampai kejang. setelah diberi obat turun panas dan saya kompres, panasnya turun. keesokannya 7/8, pagi - siang bayi terlihat sehat dan tidak panas namun malamnya panas lagi sampai 38°C, sampai tanggal 8/8 pukul 10:00, panasnya masih 37,5°C. Tgl 8/8 pukul 11:00, istri saya pulang/keluar dari RSIA tetapi anak saya tinggal di RS. saya sempatkan mampir di lab untuk cek darah istri saya, hasilnya istri saya positif (5) salmonela Typhi IGM. direncanakan siang ini, kami akan menjempu anak saya sekaligus memeriksaan istri saya. yang jadi pertanyaan : 1. Apakah istri saya terkena tifus? begitu juga dengan anak saya? 2. Apakah tifus dapat menular melalui ASI? 3. Tindakan apa saja yang dapat kami lakukan? sekian, terima kasih.
