$24 per year or $18 for six months. The reason is simple: You are not purchasing
"products" or "services." Rather, you are joining a professional community that
supports itself. There's a big difference between the two, and our fee system
reflects that.
Now, the fee is not a "suggested donation" or a donation at all. It is a professional
fee, and it is due from all who participate here. Since ours is a professional
community, the fee is paid on the honor system. We have chosen to not put up
password-protected barriers, out of respect for the professionalism of our colleagues
who participate here.
