Good point! Added in cvs, as an optional button--use /Settings :-Toolbars :- Main Window/ to add it.
Second, when an attached file is edited, it would be nice if the original file was not changed; a copy in temp would be better, IMHO
Agreed--changing the original would be an unexpected side-effect, for most of us! We're discussing how to fix that.
